Welcome

Thanks for stopping by.

2020 changed a lot of things for many people.  For me, it caused me to jump head first into social media as an effort to sow some seeds of change and help folks get their heads out of their asses, otherwise known as having a Cranial Rectal Extraction.

I had my profile up on LinkedIn since late 2009, when NetJets, where I landed after retiring from the Navy and was flying for at the time, issued a furlough notice and I needed to start looking for another job.  For the ten years I had my profile up, I kept it strictly as an online CV or expanded resume.  However, at the end of March 2020, I went on rant on LinkedIn, publishing my first article, posting links to other articles, debating people, chasing down rabbit holes, etc.  A month or so into the ranting, lockdowns, and mask-mandates I changed my profile photo to the one above and my tag line to read, “Personal opinions expressed herein may not agree with those of my employer.”

Midsummer, I went “live” on Facebook.  Although I had a Facebook account for many years, only using it to keep abreast of family, I had nothing on it.  I fleshed out my profile, connecting with folks, some the same as on LinkedIn, some family, some new folks.  A month or so later, I opened a Parler account.

I posted the same items on each platform and if I wrote a new article on LinkedIn, I would post the public link to that on FB and Parler.

Late in the year, LinkedIn locked my account, supposedly for being rude in a post.  I “begged” forgiveness.  In November, they locked my account again, this time for reposting Tom Woods’ discussion The Covid Cult, which LinkedIn staff deemed “misinformation.”  I assured them that the post was accurate.  They let me back on.  Finally, in early January, LinkedIn had enough of me after I posted a letter from the Nye County GOP Chairman.  Again, they deemed it “misinformation.”

Eventually over the year, my list of original articles on LinkedIn had grown to ten, which were now lost to public view on that platform.  Thus, I’ve set up this website to republish them, as well as to allow myself a venue to continue to write articles that are typically far too long for social media posts.

I hope you enjoy them; perhaps they offer a perspective on the given topic that you might not have thought of.  Just click on the "Articles" button above to browse.

Find me on Facebook, for the time being, Parler, MEWE and Gab for commentary, debate and other posts.

Namaste.  😌🙏

Update May 3, 2021

A friend encouraged me to get back on LinkedIn to broaden the audience.  So, after petitioning the Lords of LinkedIn to let me back in, and being refused, I set up a new profile, which is somewhat incognito.  I remain on there until I get the 🥾 again, as well as on Facebook, acting as a Fifth Column.

Update June 22, 2021

It took less than 2 months for LinkedIn to give me the 🥾 again.  I had five "misinformation" warnings and posted an article from Mercola yesterday about mRNA and the vax; that probably put them over the edge.  Done with LinkedIn for good now.

Update June 30, 2021

So last weekend, I went "quiet" on Parler.  It has gotten too glitchy and too slow, both in the speed of refreshing the pages, and actual traffic.  Plus no phone app.  They succeeded in killing that Platform.  I'm giving Instagram a try instead...

Update March 24, 2024

All the sites want you to pay to be "verified;" I may laydown some coin for that, but not just yet.  Adding X, formerly known as Twitter, to my social media profile.  We'll see how that goes.

  • X
